Intro to Canva – Intro to You

Students will get an introduction to use Canva in the classroom. They will learn how to create, design, and publish their own work. Through this session students will learn to use AI to create an image that resembles them and then add it to a Canva project to make an About Me type poster. Students will learn how to add text, and elements to represent their interests. Then students will learn how to publish and share their work.

Lights, Camera, Atoms! Bringing Science on stage with AI and Canva

Make your own Weather Report!

Join this co-taught lesson and learn how your students can use Canva to create the resources needed to make their own video Weather Report! We’ll start with creating a background graphics, pictures, and videos. Then we’ll write a script and record the broadcast (no greenscreen needed), before editing the final product.

Fake Instagram, Real Learning

In this session, we will use a template that is pre-made and learn how excellent prompting in Canva AI can produce images that can help us to create a beautiful fake Instagram for any subject area! Studying a novel? Let’s do a character profile. Learning how to add fractions? Let’s create a profile for the addition sign! How about photosynthesis? Let’s do a profile for a plant!
