Join Logics Academy in exploring the essentials needed to begin using Minecraft: Education Edition with students in your classroom. Explore key features of world management and classroom settings, explore a world in depth for classroom use, and learn how to document student learning through various assessment tools. An educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) will lead you in the session.
Agenda
- Introduction to Minecraft: Education Edition's interface, and creating/navigating worlds
- Understanding game settings and classroom management techniques through the control settings
- Learn why Minecraft is a great tool to implement into the classroom with examples
- How to use assessment tools in Minecraft (Chalkboards, Camera, Portfolio, Book & Quill, NPC's)
- Access to lesson plans and resources for support
