About the Competition
What is it?
Imagine Cup Junior is a global technology challenge where educators lead secondary students to dream up ideas that can be used to positively make a difference in the world. This year’s challenge is focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and is themed, AI for good.
Who can participate
Educators and parents/guardians of students aged 13 – 18 can submit applications. Teams consist of between 2 and six students and you can enter as many teams as you would like (no limit).
Why participate?
- Students will learn about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing and how to apply these concepts in the real world.
- Teachers receive access to comprehensive learning modules.
- Encourage students to develop and practice 21st-century skills like communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Prepare students for future job roles.
- Provide an opportunity to innovate and create for a good cause.
- Receive ongoing support through a Canadian Mentorship Microsoft Team and attend optional drop-in sessions.
- Receive FREE Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Credentials ($150 value).
