Meet Dash & Dot, a Child's First Robot Friends
Dash and Dot are exciting, hands-on learning tools for students in grades K-5! Targeted at teaching creative problem solving, coding and robotics, Dash & Dot give every student a head start on fundamental STEM principles and 21st-century skills. Students send commands to the robots to move them, light them up, and have them detect the world around them using free coding and robotics applications available on iPad, Android, and Amazon. You can also access Blockly to solve puzzles and complete projects on any Chrome Browser by clicking here!
Dash is more than just an engaging personality
Opening their eyes to how the world around them works, Dash and Dot guide kids through the world of coding and robotics, turning ideas into adventures.
Let's Get Started!
Dash & Dot have travelled a long way to meet you! Turn them on, connect, and welcome them to their new home. They are excited to play!

For Educators
Use Dash & Dot in the Classroom
Our lessons are split into two streams: Learn to Code, where students receive a comprehensive introduction to computer programming with Dash & Dot, and Code to Learn in which Dash & Dot is used to bring hands-on, engaging science and math lessons to your classroom, all while teaching students how to code. Both streams provide everything you need to bring coding to your classroom: slide-driven lessons including sample code, clear talking points, well scaffolded challenges, and extension ideas.
During this training session educators will be exposed to Dash & Dot, social robots for curious minds: the hardware and software, benefits of use in the classroom, the lesson development process, and integrating curriculum. You can bring excitement and wonder to your schools through robotics and coding! Teaching programming lets you turn your creative ideas into reality. In this hands-on workshop, you will not only have the opportunity to play and explore, but you will be able to walk out ready to code with your students.

No Robot? No Problem.
Kids can solve robot coding challenges by moving Dash around right on the screen in a rich, 3D environment.
Class Connect
Combining an always-on progress dashboard, a virtual robot, and just-in-time curricular resources for the instructor, Class Connect makes it easy for teachers to help students learn important skills, even without having a lot of coding experience.
Dash's Neighborhood
Now every student can program their favorite robot online. Dash’s Neighborhood reimagines the delightful, award-winning Dash in a brand new 3D environment. Students will love creating and exploring with their own Dash while building coding literacy.

Why Dash & Dot?
- Kids can watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real time as Dash, with its performance and multiple sensors, interacts with and responds to its surroundings.Teaches Coding Skills
- A thoughtful design and approachable personality make Dash the perfect companion for kids, right out of the box -- no assembly (or experience!) necessary.
- Recognized by parent and educators alike, the award-winning Dash guides kids of all experience levels through a library of in-app challenges to inspire tomorrow’s inventors.
Testimonials

"Coding is often mistaken for just playing with robots but oh, it is so much more. Dash allows students to develop amazing skills, such as; collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking, and risk taking. Dash may be a robot, but to the students he is the newest addition to the class, ready to go on adventures with them. Let them PLAY!
— Erica Phillips, VP, Halifax Central Jr. High

"We are doing students a disservice if we teach today the same way as we taught yesterday. Robotics is a great way for students to exercise their critical thinking skills through programming, and watch it come alive through robots.
— Carrie Willis, Technology Director, California

"Wonder Workshop’s approach to teaching coding and robotics allows my students to build and develop computer science skills, while also learning the fundamental skills of critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creative storytelling."
— Kent Steen, PH.D., Curriculum Specialist, Nebraska

Join the Wonder League Robotics Competition
The Wonder League Robotics Competition (WLRC) started in 2015 and has now reached more than 86,500 kids over the last five years. This growing network of coding and robotics teams uses our all-inclusive program to inspire an early love of coding, computer science, tangible learning, and STEAM education. Through a series of story-based missions, the teams develop a problem-solving, growth mindset, and creativity skills while learning to code.
